Stanford was founded by Leland Stanford, United States Senator, and former California Governor, is a private research university located in Stanford. The university is located on an 8,180-acre campus in northwestern Santa Clara Valley approximately 20 miles northwest of San Jose and 37 miles (60 km) southeast of San Francisco. The university was established as a coeducational and nondenominational institution, but struggled financially after the senior Stanford's 1893 death and much of the campus was damaged by the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.

Radal Siete Tazas National Reserve is a nature reserve straddling the border between the provinces of Curicó and Talca, Maule Region, Chile. It lies in a pre-Andean area close to Descabezado Grande volcano.
The reserve's most popular feature is the area known as Siete Tazas, which consists of seven consecutive natural pools with their respective waterfalls along Claro River. There are also two high waterfalls called El Velo de Novia and La Leona , with single vertical drops of 40 and 20 metres respectively.
Torres del Paine National Park is a national park encompassing a mountains, glacier, lake, and river-rich areas in southern Chilean Patagonia. The Cordillera del Paine is the centerpiece of the park. It lies in a transition area between the Magellanic subpolar forests and the Patagonian Steppes. The park is located 112 km north of Puerto Natales and 312 km north of Punta Arenas. Bernardo O'Higgins National Park is its neighbour to the west, while Los Glaciares National Park is located to the north in Argentine territory.
La Moneda originally a colonial mint , was designed by Italian architect Joaquín Toesca. Construction began in 1784 and was opened in 1805, while still under construction. The production of coins in Chile took place at La Moneda from 1814 to 1929.
moais is a human figures carved from rock on the Polynesian island of Easter Island, Chile between the years 1250 and 1500. Nearly half are still at Rano Raraku, the main moai quarry, but hundreds were transported from there and set on stone platforms called ahu around the island's perimeter. Almost all moai have overly large heads three-fifths the size of their bodies.
Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, designed by Frédéric Bartholdi and dedicated on October 28, 1886. The statue, a gift to the United States from the people of France, is of a robed female figure representing Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, who bears a torch and a tabula ansata upon which is inscribed the date of the American Declaration of Independence. A broken chain lies at her feet. The statue has become an iconic symbol of freedom and of the United States.
Eiffel Tower is a iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris that has become both a global icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tallest building in Paris,it is the most-visited paid monument in the world; millions of people ascend it every year. Named for its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair.
Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, and is often - incorrectly - extended to refer to the clock or the clock tower as well. It is the largest four-faced chiming clock and the third-tallest free-standing clock tower in the world.
